Interface & navigation
Screen layout
The application interface consists of three main areas:
- Main menu — navigation panel on the left side of the screen
- Top bar — access to search, notifications, and account settings
- Workspace — the main area of the screen displaying the active section
Main menu
The main menu provides navigation across all sections of the system, giving quick access to issues, customers, products, configuration, and other areas of the application.
The menu can be collapsed to increase workspace — click the arrow on the edge of the menu or press the B key on your keyboard. Clicking the arrow again or pressing B restores the expanded view.
Top bar
The top bar contains:
- Search — quickly find issues and other objects in the system
- Notifications — information about events requiring attention
- User menu — access to account settings and sign-out option
Tables — filters and pagination
Most list views (e.g. issues, customers, users) display data in a table. Tables support:
- Filters — the filter panel lets you narrow results by various criteria (e.g. status, type, date). Active filters appear as tags above the table and can be removed individually.
- Pagination — results are split into pages. The number of records per page and navigation between pages are available at the bottom of the table.
- Sorting — clicking a column header sorts the table by that field; clicking again reverses the order.
